As the issue is with the core and/or routing, then it will only affect certain sites/servers/routes, and doesn't have anything to do with your own connection.

Hence, CS will likely not see a problem if they check your line since the problem has nothing to do with your line. First-line support probably wouldn't understand core network problems anyway even if they could actually access the required interfaces to diagnose them.
