but I do agree with your comment...about the court as we have been told this will could put future buyers off if we ever did decide to sell or they could use this as a bargaining tool to lower the price

I know I would be put off because I would not to buy a property that could be dug up any time through a fault and to add insult to injury not even for a service that they are supplying you nor were ever given by you to lay there cable in the first place as only the owner of a property can grant a wayleave not the neighbour.. In the deeds it says only electric,gas and sewage has the rights to go onto said property not Virgin Media..

The criminal damage here has been done to my property by Virgin Media as they came onto my property without permission to lay cable to supply neighbour and used my land.
Oh for your information I can remove the cable but I have to give them the opportunity to rectify there mistake by law.
I am not getting at you cookie 365 just totally annoyed with Virgin Media and totally justified at being so...
