Yeah I am gutted to see that date. If the problems were fixed I would not be bothering with a BT line.

My experience dealing with BT so far has been shocking at best. I placed an order with them last Monday (13th Jan) online which appeared to go through fine. I got e-mails from them etc.. and BT Sport activated on my Sky TV. I then thought it was weird that I heard nothing back from BT. So I phoned BT last night and first off found the automated service terrible! In the end I just bashed any combination to get through to a human. With regret that human was from seas far away and I could barely understand them (British Telecom..W/E) Anyway I was put on hold about 15 times in 45 minutes then told she would phone me back this morning.

This morning came and to be fair she phoned me back. BUT to call me to tell me that my order could not be processed!! I was like WTF? how.. Why has no one phoned me!!! All she could say was "I see....I see" - So anyway I had to reorder today which means a new Openreach appointment on the 31st Jan. 2 hours after I got off the phone with her I had an email to inform me that they have moved that appointment to Feb 3rd. I won't hold me breath.

Virgin wins for customer service by a million miles. - And to top it off she spoke to me as if I was thick! Telling me that I won't be able to use the Virgin phone point when my number is transferred and that I will have to unplug my Virgin phone line to then plug into the BT one .... WOW never knew that!!!!

Spoke to a nice English man from VM a minute ago who arranged to credit my BB down to 1p as the Direct Debit was already issued. He also tried to arrange 6 months worth of credits for me but said his hands were tied but informed I should phone my contact at the CEO office to arrange backdated credits. Virgin have always been helpful when I have phoned option 5 then option 3 - always UK based via retentions. so I am rather annoyed with BT on the phone so far but I will try and remain calm and when Infinity is eventually installed I will be posting feedback on that.
