Sky's downloading system auto-deletes after the availability period - so there isn't really any time benefit.

It you downloaded this evening's EastEnders onto your Sky box - it will auto-delete on 16 Jan and you can not stop it from doing so.

It isn't even moved to the deleted folder - it is completely removed.

But some are available for a little longer.
