Home Server

Hi Guys, And Happy New Year.

I've recently got myself a WD Home Server

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Personal-Clo...wd+home+server

It works exactly as i want it to, basically i want to transfer all my movies and music to this device and access it on all my devices in my house, and it does this.

I also can access movies and music from anywhere i go, which is also brilliant.

however....

my mother and father are not very technical minded. At the moment if my dad wants a specific movie, i put it on a USB stick and send it to him, and he watches it by plugging it into the TV, he hasnt got a smart TV but its not ancient either

Im wondering if i can rig his tv up to access my home server, like i can access it through my ipad, that way i can just upload a movie and he can access it straight away.

I know you can buy WD live player, but would this work?
