Re: heat pump condensing tumble dryer

Been having a read and they are basically a closed air condensing dryer using heat exchangers.
Apparently they use about 1/3 the electric or about 700Wh.
We do an average of 8 washes/dry's a week and the savings over 3 years vastly outweigh the initial cost (fingers crossed) of the dryer.
In the UK this type of dryer is still relativity low on the hit list of purchases but on the continent they have been around for a while.
