The more ways there are to view the programmes on Sky Atlantic, the less likely it is that continuing to deny Virgin Media access makes any sense. They may as well make money out of it. That is what really motivates Sky.

I remain pretty damn sure that it's coming, just as Dave is convinced that it's not! I think people are making too much of this issue. This is a speculative thread, after all. Nothing's that positive until it's confirmed, and it's confirmed when it arrives.

Based on your description of "actual evidence" all he or anyone else needs is a media report in which someone suggests in a positive manner that Sky and VM are not in talks about Sky Atlantic.
I am not suggesting he or anyone else finds one, there are probably many reports out there. If he or anyone could be bothered to do that, he or anyone else would be using a speculative report with no basis in fact, not "actual evidence."
