When I called Virgin last December to cancel my contract due to the price increases I told the rep I was joining SKY. He then spent the next 5 minutes telling me all the things SKY couldn't offer rather than focusing on what Virgin could offer me to stay. He made a few mistakes along the way about the services from SKY, but I don't think he was lying to me. I think he thought he was telling me the truth probably based on limited knowledge or old information. SKY reps should stick to talking about SKY products and Virgin reps should stick to talking about Virgin products. As soon as they try to talk about each others products, they tend to get it wrong. Problem is people like to push them on rival products which forces them to make a comment.
