If you use a device or 3rd party service to evade this restriction, your viewing is still 'unauthorised' - fooling their technology does not make it otherwise. Unauthorised access to computer data is 'hacking' and an offence under the CMA.

It is impossible to say what the sterling UK Netflix subscription rate might be if it covered the full range of content - media and tech companies are adept at differentiating markets.

To be fair this problem is not of Netflix's making - they are trying to break into a market already stitched up by others - and they are doing no more (or less) than they legally have to. However if the nasty stuff ever hits the fan, they are pretty well covered by the above, the user is not.
