I've been in this situation.

Last year I received a second £70 radio receiver.

It was their mistake for sending it out.

Now being a good guy, I contacted them and said, I'm more than happy to send it back to them, drive to the post office and sent it off.

Now the least the shop could have done is say thankyou and give me a money off voucher or something. Nothing. Not even 5% off my next purchase.

You end up sorting out someone elses mess up and you get nothing in return.
