There are others ways to get these shows both legally and illegally. I've got Now TV built into my Smart TV so if I was really desperate to watch SKY Atlantic I could always take out a NOW TV subscription.

Through my work I can get a great deal with Virgin Media. The XL package with £15.00 off per month for 18 months, with a free 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. No half price for 6 months but the package is only going to cost £48.00 per month for the next year and a half. Effectively I'm getting line rental for free.
If I ever came back to VM thats all I'd be willing to subscribe to , their Sky Sports and Sky premium HD pricing is too expensive and doesnt include all channels in HD , I'm interested to see what Sky offer you when you ring to cancel I've had some excellent discounts thanks in part to the current competitive climate.
