I'm pretty sure you've hit the nail on the head there, Seph. I've been saying it for ages now, Virgin isn't perfect but they've come a long, long way in the last 12 months or so (and yes, they've still got some ways to go). The cynical side of me thinks they didn't really have much choice with the FTTC rollout but that just goes to show how big a difference a little competition can make.
