In my case it's because there was no huge urgency and I have neither a VM phone (so it costs) nor the patience to go through the likely BS a call to TS is going to entail before getting that callout.
For me it's a case of reporting it on the forum and waiting a few days. In my time with VM I've had several callouts to fix problems but the only people I've spoken to have been retentions to blag a discount.
