As long as you
only eat when you're hungry, and stop eating as soon as your body tells you you're full, you will lose weight even if what you eat isn't low calorie etc. It's what I did to lose 2 and a half stone in 5 months last year. The running helped of course but considering you need to expend around 3500 calories to burn off 1lb of fat, it didn't play a big part.
