i am glad Premier Sports has been made available at last on VM.
i will enjoy the 'free' period and watch some NHL.
After that i will not be subscribing simply because at £7.99/£9.99 pm it doesnt represent good value to me. But freedom of choice and all that ;people at least have the option to subscribe or not. Will be interesting how many subscribers the channel attracts on VM in the new year.
i am a bit disappointed VM and PS (and Netflix for that matter) could not thrash out a deal to include it in a pack such as XL. Now i know non-sports fans (what is up with these people anyway ?

) would moan that they would be subsidising this and BT/ESPN but i refer to a previous post if VM could have got PS and Netflix in a pack such as XL they could have covered the cost with a nominal price increase in the pack. Netflix would give the non-sports fans their 'value' . For me all parties gain- Netflix and PS probably get more £ than as standalone subscriptions, VM's top tier pack represents even better value for most XL customers and probably gains more subscribers. I understand PS have wanted a deal like this before but have wanted a bigger % than VM have considered acceptable. A small price increase done in a way that many would see as good value may have been a way to satisfy all parties)
I may be wrong in that assumption and can only speak for myself but if the XL pack (or maybe a new pack called say XL+) had the current content + the new rumoured channels + PS + Netflix i would be willing to pay more ( maybe a couple of quid maybe up to a fiver) as i would regard it as good value. Perhaps we could do a poll to gauge people's opinion?
