STB updates are only done on weekdays (usually Tuesday to Thursday), and later in the night than that (usually between 2am and 6am). A message is displayed on the screen saying what is happening, so you won't be in any doubt
You were right, Spiderplant, it just needed a reboot!

Drat!! I was looking forward to having a play over the weekend!
