Ookkayyy....I didn't know that

Just realised (by accident) that you don't need your TiVo connected to your home network while using the VMTV web site to access stuff like My Shows and Planned Recordings.



I guess that VM keep a copy of this data at their end - because both the network homeplug and switch used by my TiVo are currently off, yet I can access My Shows etc.
