2) Even if it is from someone from within VM, doesn't mean it isn't the truth. Some negotiations I'm sure are quite sensitive and have a bit of commercial horse trading. Having 'it's coming to VM' may well annoy content providers who see it as an assumption in negotiations.

Have to disagree with you on that last one, Virgin are pretty useless in announcing new channels.
