1) Doesn't say it's from someone at VM, nor whether it was an 'official' warning.
2) Even if it is from someone from within VM, doesn't mean it isn't the truth. Some negotiations I'm sure are quite sensitive and have a bit of commercial horse trading. Having 'it's coming to VM' may well annoy content providers who see it as an assumption in negotiations.
3) Official statements come from VM as soon as channel launches are confirmed, and we staff generally get told pretty much at the same time as customers do.
