Tesco's BlinkBox has UK HD streaming of the HBO shows, albeit only after a season has finished on Sky Atlantic. Pricey though.

Aside from Game of Thrones, Sky Atlantic hasn't really got anything that will appeal to the mass market. Sure, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire and (arguably) Newsroom are great shows, but for me Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and House of Cards are better...and all on TiVo by the end of the year.
