That's true but how many bikers kill themselves every year due to speeding and dangerous riding and when was the last time you saw a high profile campaign highlight that? Drivers are rightly being warned to look out for bikers or all types yet where are the messages aimed at them to try to modify their behaviour and the risk they pose to other road users?

I think it's about time the authorities took the problem of irresponsible bikers more seriously and acted accordingly and if we can hope to educate car drivers why can't we hope to educate those on bikes? Surely attacking the problem from both ends would yield better results.
