Very true.

It's a similar thing with the buy one get one free or cheap type offers. I remember a year or so back, I was looking at Washing gel (for washing clothes). Sainsburys had 2 small bottles of it (apparently on special offer) that worked out considerably more expensive than one large bottle that had the same amount of liquid as the two small ones.
