I take it you want a scooter (mopeds are less than 50cc)

Most recommend something like a Peugeot speedflight (100cc) as they are reliable, quick and easy to maintain, we even have a peugeot 50cc trekker here for short journeys that we can't be bothered getting out the big bikes/cars/van.

Avoid the taiwan/chinese crap as they break down due to cheaply made components and there's no guarantee that parts will be available 5+ years down the line.
