Are you sure about that theone? I read recently that LG are not so much concerned about increasing subscribers but more along the lines of increasing the ARP from their existing subscribers.

I agree with the thought that only paying for channels that you want will drive the price up. Everyone has different viewing tastes and while you may save on some, for the more niche channels, you'll end up paying more. I think that this would even be the case with say Discovery. I would pay but in terms of household numbers, there would be a substantial number who wouldn't.
