It doesn't matter what pack you are on if you have the sport the movies are only seven pounds per month on top which my point was is good value and I stick with that. That is for the SD versions btw. The HD sport and movies charge is another choice altogether....

No way was I trying to belittle you. I merely said that as an XL user myself, the cost of adding sports and movies is prohibitive for me, and I suspect some (but not all) users here.

If you watch a lot of sports and/or movies, then is is probably good for you, but as I rarely watch either, I cannot justify the expense

Correct me if I am wrong, but you can record (and so keep films) on the Tivo or V+ for the life of the subscription to the movie channel, so I wonder if you will have the ability to record Netflix, or whenever this is an "on demand only" type
