Re: Boxing 2013

Haye's never been past it. He might be if you view him as an actual boxer. Haye isn't though, he has little boxing talent and that's always been the case. Haye is sheer speed and power which in today's world sells fights. He'll knock Vitali's chin across the ring if he catches him right. Chisora came with his supposed 'one of the best in the business chins' and got it knocked right of his face. Hopefully Fury walks away now and we might have hope for British boxing, Fury gets dropped by Haye = disaster. He's our last genuine heavyweight for at least 4-5 years, Haye will end up with Vitali, win/lose then walk away again and thats that.

Also note that the brothers of boredom rarely come out of their nest in Germany, which is useless when Haye is in trouble should he step foot in Germany. Add this all up and it makes the fight pointless, Haye is effectively going to put the British Heavyweight division on hiatus for the next few years.

Haye has nothing to prove. He's a cruiserweight with phenomenal power that could drop any given boxer in the world, including the Klits. Jab him and avoid him for 12 rounds and you have nothing though. Lunge at him and you have a different story.

Whilst I'm disappointed about said injury I also feel relieved this fight may not go ahead.
