We have a pair of Liebherr side-by-side units (one fridge, one freezer), one or both of those emits the occasional moo.
The user manual has a brilliant little cartoon that seems designed to reassure owners of any language that the occasional strange noise is quite normal. I may post a pic later if I can find it.
