If I were Sky I'd want to keep Atlantic exclusive, but maybe they think that all the people who want to move from VM to Sky for Atlantic have already done so, therefore Sky may as well get extra revenue from selling it to VM.
Who really knows. But free BT sports was a bit of a surprise, so I wouldn't count anything out these days.

Yep as mb says spot on,anybody who was gonna move because of channel would have done So by now,and its not a case of sky witholding it.sky would gladly let vm have sky Atlantic but its down to cost I was told in July that whilst vm plan to get it sky value of that particular channel is higher than what vm consider it to be,I was told expect it in the autumn it's others that have put a date to it.i do believe it will turn up but other channels will come before and autumn covers quite a while.At the same time was told bt sports will come and did and Netflix will follow (and here it is ) so I have no doubti in my mind we will see at least some of the UPC channels we are missing and sky Atlantic during these autumn months
