Whilst it's good news for Tivo owners I can't see it prompting me to pay the extra fiver per month for Tivo on the back of this announcement. Yes, it's nice to have it all in one place and easily searchable within the rest of the VM content, so it's no big incentive to switch as it'll put my monthly bill up.

I'm curious as to why some commenters feel that this will lessen the chances of getting Sky Atlantic. Have VM signed an exclusive deal with Netflix, or are they just the first to do it? If Sky want to peddle Netflix's wares I'm sure all they have to do is sort out a delivery method and sign on the dotted line. Surely Netflix wouldn't limit their penetration into the living room by excluding any deal with an operator as large as Sky? If that's the case why should Sky take their ball home in a huff and decide not to offer SA to VM if they haven't been precluded from doing something similar themselves? Or did I miss that bit?
You can use your current subscription and what I am saying regarding sky atlantic is that if its included in xl I suspect sky atlantic will go back on the back burner I cant see netflix and sky atlantic coming at same time.from the info I was given weeks ago I suspect it will go in vip
