Hi

I have a V+ box which I stopped subscribing for (subscribing for multi room) about a month ago. It just sitting in my back room doing nothing. My dad as an old Samsung SD Box at his house.

How difficult would it be for me to give him my old V+ box to replace his SD box. Would he still have to pay extra for the V+ service. (or his subscription now only extra for the Tivo box?)

If he didn't want to pay for the V+ service, could he still use the box to receive HD channels?

I'd imagine a phone call to Virgin Customer services would be involved, but would prefer to know its possible before taking the box round.
