As theone2K10 pointed out, a rival service of Virgin Movies at a subscription would be hard, the rights are snapped up as exclusives in this market between Netflix/LoveFilm/Sky Movies, the easiest and cheapest way to do this would be to team up with one of these guys!

Virgin already do this, by carrying Sky Movies.
The question is what would Netflix and Lovefilm offer that is different to this. Or is this another case (like sports) where competition works against the consumer by making you subscribe to several different services to get a full choice?
