Been there and had the exact opposite
I have a series link for Live WTA tennis and all the shows are marked NEW but TiVo said the second show was a repeat of the first
I changed for record NEW to record everything. It looks like you have the inverse of this problem. I note that both shows are marked as NEW in the EPG but are the same episode.
