So you, like me cannot be railroaded. Try and buy your package now as a new customer, without a TiVo. Can you? No. Of course you can't.

The children to ransom bit was strange but possibly meant something to you. I am not going on as you put it. I am merely expressing an interest in the Horizon box as it appears to meet my needs if not everyone's.

Just to clarify, what need is it that Horizon meets that TiVo doesn't? Avoiding the service charge?
