At least (or I hope not) Arsenal haven't made the same mistake that Leeds made all those years ago, when they borrowed heavily against the promise of European football for at least the next 16 years.
not stretched. there is a safety net but to fall into that net for nothing is hard to take when all could have been avoided by investing with the money the club has. also although CL brings in a decent amount its not something the club has to have to survive.

Arsenal need a GK, CB/FB, DM, AM and a CF. if the kid can fill the AM position then thatll do. Arsenal should sign Thauvin to fill the LW/AM/RW positions. the CF position is something else. Arsenal should sign Rooney to fill that hole.

Lady Nina screwed up big time, shes admitted being sold a false dream. its interesting she said 2 years ago somethings missing from Wenger and continues to attack the board.

Bring back David Dein and put Red&White on the board!

Diego Simeone has played down Atletico Madrid’s opening day win, insisting La Liga’s title is only between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

“Madrid and Barcelona play in a different League. This is a boring championship. We will have to wait for a different television revenue distribution because right now, the League is only between two teams."
