If BT Sports is launching on Virgin Media, surely it would need to be before Saturday? If not how would Virgin cope with the demand? I assume if you want to add the channel you'd need to give Virgin a call to add BT Sports to your package. How many Virgin customers would be lifting the phone, trying to get access to the channels, before Liverpool Vs. Stoke kicks off at 12:45pm? Surely the numbers would be huge.
Whilst none of our Virgin insiders can confirm if they know a deal has been done or not, have Virgin arranged for more staff than usual to be available from Friday night through to Sunday?
