VM keep on messing about and alway say 'we are in talks etc etc', and everyone will say, that they have heard this and that. This is what infuriates everyone.
VM have always stated that they have been in talks for weeks, but it has already been agreed with Sky, and UPC/ Setanta. BUT VM are again playing hard ball and want it on the cheap. The people that are losing out are US - THE CUSTOMER.
Say for example - BT Sports, starts tomorrow, at a price of £10.00 per month, its up to us to decide if we want it, its that simple. But VM will pull it if they dont get enough customers after a couple of months, if they are not making money out of it.
Ots like the other day, l called VM and l placed on here what they told me - its that simple. I am counting down the days.

Forgive me but you are talking utter rubbish.
They MAYBE in talks. Who honestly knows? Do you? for sure?
Everyone is blaming Virgin here when probably the truth is that BT are playing hardball with Virgin as they don't want to give it to them but due to the rules and regulations, have to be seen to be at least offering something.
Everyone knows BT are in this to retain existing BB customers and to recruit new ones. BT won't be seeing Sky as the competitor in the broadband stakes, they will see Virgin as the main threat.
They haven't agreed anything with Sky - Sky is an open platform - anyone can broadcast from it - all BT would have to do is pay Sky for the EPG entry.
As far as I am aware, BT do not offer directly ANY domestic broadband in Ireland so they have no interest in withholding the BT Sports channels from any Irish cable operator.
