I don't consider myself to be a new poster, so I genuinely hope that comment regarding "new posters" was not directed at me.

I offered my opinion. You offered yours. Are you saying that as a "new poster" I should not offer my opinion?

I based it on the content that Tivo offers, (on demand music, catch up, series catch up and apps) and not necessarily the number of channels.

What I will agree with you though is that Virgin do need to pull their socks up a little as they seem to becoming complacent.
