Erm except that didn't "sum it up" nicely at all mate. Not at all. Saying why don't Virgin just get ESPN, as that would be alright over BT Sports is not true because 99.999% of people want it for the Premier League. Just because about 5 American Football saddos would be delighted with that outcome doesn't mean it would be a good decision to not get BT Sports.
Say Virgin got to keep ESPN but didn't get BT Sport. Great! we've got sport!!!! lovely sport. fantastic. now, when's the match kicking off!? oh, right.
99.999% of people left unable to watch the Premier League, England is a football country and we want our football, so therefore acquiring ESPN would be a waste of time and money on its own and would provide
zero consolation for not getting BT Sport.
