Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.

ok -bored now of all ihis is BT coming to virgin or not and at what price. They should really make an official announcement.

i like my sports but have already cancelled sky sports and i wont be getting bt sports as a stand alone subscription package if and when it finally arrives on VM.

i am more bothered about the changes to XL from 1st august. We have already been told there is no price drop so i shall wait to see how VM plan to "maintain XL's excellent value for money" with no ESPN. If that BT sports well great ...if not we'll see what other potential channels VM add.

i am sure a lot of XL customers will also be seeing what happens. i would suggest for a fair few having ESPN in the XL pack was a major reason they subscribed to XL.Not the only one of course- the HD and certain channels are also factors. I am sure VM will be aware they need to do something or they risk losing a number of punters either altogether or some may downgrade their service. Either way thats a loss of revenue.

doing 'nothing' would not really appear to be an option. I know we have had a couple of new channel & HD channel launches recently. Not enough though to maintain its value imo
