Re: BBC to Launch 5 New HD Channels

It makes no cost difference for the childrens channels to launch in HD if BBC Three/Four are.

The Playout and Transponder space is exactly the same, if you sit in continuity at BBC Three, you will sit and watch CBBC until the channel goes live at 7 because of this. There is approximatly a 1 1/2 minute switchover between the channels, from Kids going off to BBC Three/Four coming on. So why shouldn't kids have HD?

Nick, Disney, Cartoon Network etc seem to be in HD so why not the BBC ones?
