The Newmarket trainer publicly revealed in the aftermath of the Mahmood Al Zarooni case that a number of his horses had tested positive after being being given Sungate, a joint treatment which contains Stanozolol.
Butler said he had used Sungate on veterinary advice and believed that many other horses in Newmarket had been given similar treatment
