Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news

http://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2013/...orts-channels/

"The UK’s digital terrestrial pay-TV broadcaster Top Up TV has been unable to reach an agreement to resell BT Vision’s new sports channels on the Freeview platform. As a result, Top Up TV is withdrawing from the premium sports channel business.

The platform has done a deal with Sky to recommend that Top Up TV customers transfer to Sky at a reduced rate if they wish to continue to receive Sky Sports channels.

Top Up TV will cease broadcasting Sky Sports 1 and 2 at the end of June and will cease broadcasting ESPN at the end of July.

BT Vision will direct sell its sports channels to the customer and so bypassing both Sky and Top Up TV."

So no carriage deal with SKY, and no carriage deal with Top Up TV.
