The first rule of speed testing for your purpose here is to stick with the same measurement point. You've got Luton, Preston and Basildon. Maybe you should just stick to Preston for all cases.
The thing now you should be looking out for is the contuned comparison between speed tests performed in the morning and those at peak time in the evening.

Thanks for the advice, Ill make sure I stick to the same measurement point. Ill keep my eye on this and hopefully it was just a 'one off'.
The Sky vs. the VM, I can't quite believe the difference! Really pleased with the result.
