Mine was still working up to last week on my old v+ box. The box was swapped for a newer one (old one broke), and now the email is not available, so from this, I would assume it is only available on specific boxes (mine was an old Samsung)
No big problem - did not really use it anyway - too painful with a remote, but if it was reintroduced on Tivo, I might possibly "tinker" with it now and again
