Part of the statement on the old thread that started 2 months ago shows that the problems are VM capacity issues. No surprise there! From page 48 of that thread:
What I can tell you is that we've continued to add additional capacity to our Content Delivery Network over the past few weeks, specifically in the West Midlands and the East of England, alongside some general network capacity improvements. |
the bit in bold further highlights the postcode lottery on VM.
