"THE GLOVES will start to come off in the war between BT Sport and Sky when next season’s top-flight fixtures are announced on Wednesday.
BT’s publicity blitz, featuring Joe Hart, and Gareth Bale, has heavily trailed the 18 ‘first-pick’ matches in their total of 38.
But Sky will already have chosen which 20 rounds of games they have the plum tie in — leaving BT to make do with the headline encounter in the remaining 18.
News of the first few weeks of televised games is due in around three weeks.
At which point expect Sky’s Project Purple — the unit dedicated to responding to the BT challenge — to unleash hell."
