The green LEDs in the VM photo are misleading. Green means that the circuit is operating under the DOCSIS 1 protocol (not used except for the intial booting). The LEDs will be blue when DOCSIS 3 is acquired for thr 30 meg and higher tiers.

AFAIK, the VM tirallists received production models which don't have the VM logo above the WPS button.

Also, to make life even more different, the front panel LEDs are described by VM as being on the side panel. Which side panel is that? The front one or the rear one? LOL.
