I would have thought that all of the broadcast steams would be duplicated with possible extra streams available for the connected red button. Yes, it does make it kind of pointless but the connected red button is at a very early stage of development, not really a mass market option at present.

It's very vague and only really states that the BBC are looking at making BBC Four documentaries available in HD. Which could mean showing them on BBC Two, or could mean they will be shown on one of the new BBC HD channels planned for the additional freeview DVB-T2 multiplexes.

Well, that's certainly not going to happen across all platforms, unless they go for 1/4 resolution streams.
