Re: The Office

I thought the finale was poor to be honest. They tried to pack too much nostalgia into the episode and there were a few too many montages of the past, the rest of the episode being fairly unstructured as a result. I also wished they used Michael Scott's return a bit more, he had a couple of lines and appearances and was gone.

Too much stuff was resolved in a sense. Almost every character had a life changing event. All jammed into one episode.

Personally I was hoping that it would be mostly normal episode with a few things tied up and the last scene to be a photo of the cast, with Michael Scott, that mirrored the final scene of the UK Office (where they have a photo with the returned David Brent). That would have had a nice symmetry with the UK version and also with it's first episode which was almost a shot for shot remake of the first UK episode.
