You're welcome…. but remember this was only on a limited RouterMode trial of basic released R19 (as stability was subsequently questionable due to other reasons - so I'm back in ModemMode awaiting T9,V21…V23 et seq) and thus we still have further Test patches and point f/w releases LIKELY in next couple of months so it may not necessarily hold true thru remainder of trial!

That said I'd still expect Router Mode to remain protocol agnostic with only temp/existing blocks on NetBios/NetBeui ports(for historical reasons) if attempting to CIFS/SMB route via WAN which is ultimately nowt to do with "SH2" per se.
Additionally (noting the OP's comment on SMB usuability) if the OP is using Mac Intel OSX 10.5 upwards on local lan then CIFS/Samba should also "automount" using inbuilt CLI script functionality anyway…. so as far as my initial limited testing goes with my specific NAS equipment then all of AFP,CIFS/SMB and NFS should all basically function via wireless/SH2 anyway.

However as stated(mine was a cursory test) so it does need more samples/intensive testing from other users to at least corroborate CIFS, NFS protocols in more detail.
